After enduring weeks of "June gloom", this morning the sun was out bright and early. I couldn't wait to paint outside! I headed to Carlsbad Village, and was overwhelmed with subject matter. (I'm really appreciating all the "light and shadow" right now!) I finally decided to park myself in front of this darling little "chocolate bar" on State Street.
